Our Programs

Women Empowerment

GGK Tech in association with NGO Seva Bharathi runs a girl child empowerment program, Kishori Vikas, with the intent of creating sustainable commuity development in the slum areas. The program aims to work on skill development & after school education for girl children in these slums.

The modus operandi of the initiative is something that goes in this manner: volunteers between the age 12-18 are selected from each slum and are trained in different areas like education, health, sanitation, vocational skills, folk arts, yoga etc. to mention a few. These volunteers further share their learning with the rest of the slum dwellers in their area, thus bringing about a positive change slowly and gradually.

Meanwhile, we have seen a change in the slums. Our counselling sessions with the parents has helped in preventing the child marriage of girls. It has also helped them to find a better way of livelihood and save them from human trafficking.

Community Development

GGK Tech has always been ahead in taking up community development initiatives. Recently, we supported and helped in the construction of Vocational Training Center in Madikonda. We have partnered with Godrej & Boyce for conducting the Vocational Training Programs and selecting the suitable candidates for the programs. The institute started its operations in September 2015 and 30 candidates were placed with Godrej itself. We have initiated a special program with focus on Empowerment of Women in the local communities by conducting training classes on Sewing, Crafts & Painting.
